Noddy lives in Toyland with an assortment of colourful characters. Created by Enid Blyton, he's been entertaining countless generations of children both in a series of books and one of the longest ever running British television series.
Noddy and his little car have many adventures together, and these adventures often include the following popular characters -
Big Ears - a wise old gnome and Noddy's best friend in Toyland. He can often be called upon to offer advice when Noddy finds himself in a difficult situation.
Mr Plod - Although Toyland is on the whole a safe and gentle place, it does have a number of mischievous characters. As a policeman he helps to keep them in line, often teaches them right from wrong.
Sly & Gobbo - if there's trouble to be found in Toyland you can guarantee that these two naughty goblins are involved. They play tricks on the other characters and have even been known to try and pinch Noddy's little car.
Tessie Bear - a kind and helpful bear who is good friends with Noddy. She has a little pet dog called Bumpy Dog and can often be relied upon to teach values such as sharing to the other characters.
The range of Noddy toys include jigsaw puzzles featuring scenes from the television series, a Noddy doll that has removable clothes to help children learn to get dressed, and a number of vehicles including Noddy's red and yellow car.
