Welcome to Waybuloo and the wonderful world of Nara; a safe and happy land where the Piplings live. Lau Lau, De Li, Nok Tok and Yojojo learn to relate to the natural world through exploration and yogo – their version of yoga. The Waybuloo toys, games, and playsets bring the TV series to life, develop creative play and encourage gentle physical exercise.
Each Pipling has a different personality to make them easy for young children to relate to. Lau Lau has the creative streak and loves painting, whilst Nok Tok is practical and enjoys putting things together. De Li is the sensitive soul with a passion for gardening, and Yojojo is the most mischievous and energetic of the bunch.
In a similar vein to Teletubbies, Waybuloo mixes computer animation with live action scenes of children playing in the land of Nara. But it’s yogo that’s at the heart of Waybuloo. When the Piplings hear the morning call to yogo, they go straight to the yogo machine and do their daily poses. Parents and children are encouraged to join them at the end for the repeat performance of the poses.
The idea behind the TV show is to present the world in a way that appeals to toddlers. Everything in the land of Nara is bright and beautiful, and the Piplings are playful, inquisitive, and caring. The Waybuloo toys are an extension of the TV series and allow children to bring the Piplings and their world to life. Use the Waybuloo toys and games to learn and perform the yogo poses, collect the Pipling figures, and re-create the land of Nara with ball pools, chairs, and stools. From the wendy house to ride-on Waybuloo toys and talking plush Piplings, the range has pretty much every kind of game, puzzle, and figure a toddler could wish for.
